EE confirms 4G launch date for the UK

EE had confirmed their 4G launch in the UK. EE's CEO Olaf Swantee said:

“We are delighted to announce that the official launch of our new customer brand, EE, offering the UK’s first superfast mobile 4G and fibre broadband service, will take place on the 30th October 2012.

“This is a significant milestone for the United Kingdom, and for the people and businesses of our country who will now be able to enjoy the huge advantages of superfast 4G technology for the first time.

“We are very proud to be pioneering, innovating and leading our industry in launching 4G for our nation through our new EE brand.”

  1. its great news! 4g is the next big step and im choosing my mobile carefully, just a queerie, the HTC ONE XL was released in france a while ago, its a lower specification than the normal one x which is confusing as they swap the quad core for a dual core. whats the point in this tactic??? especially as they produced the one x plus.

    Also i viewed on BBC news that HTC will release the butterfly J phablet which is exciting as it has the newest screen and specifications that blow the galaxy note 2 out the water. so my question is ....HTC butterfly J or Asus padfone 2 ...hard choice...
