Sony Xperia´s range is strong on Krusell´s Top Seller list for October 2013. The company increase their sales by 1,2 million compared to the same period in 2012 according to Mobile world live.

- The global smartphone shipments grew 45 percent annually from 172.8 million units in Q3 2012 to 251.4 million in Q3 2013 says Ulf Sandberg Managing Director at Krusell. This was the first time ever that smartphone shipments exceeded a quarter-billion units in a single quarter. We are very content to see the market growth which shows continuous development in our segment as well, where custom made cases is the latest trend, he ends.

Samsung S3 keeps the first place for the second consecutive month, at Krusell’s top seller list for July. The mix of brands that we have on the list this month, is a bit surprising, says Ulf Sandberg Managing Director at Krusell. This month we have four Sony units, after the entrance of the new Xperia Go on the list. My forecast for August is that we will still have Samsung in the lead one month a head, even if we already have started to receive pre-orders on the new iPhone model.

Newly launched Samsung Galaxy SIII enters the list, directly into the first place. Samsung has the majority of placements on this month´s list and pushes down iPhone 4/4S that has been in the top of our list since November last year says Ulf Sandberg CEO at Krusell. Galaxy SIII has a sleek design, some new features but mostly a great 4, 8 HD super Amoled touchscreen and my guess is that it will stay at the top until Apple launches their next iPhone.

Krusell increases their local presence in the UK market.
Krusell International expands by opening its first local sales office in UK. By setting up a local sales office in UK, Krusell will be in the position to grow its business throughout the region. The office will be located in Cambridge and the appointed Country Manager is Mr. Med Jeewoth.
Med Jeewoth, who has a long history in the telecom industry, has previously worked for companies like Nokia, Toshiba and Huawei. Krusell is his first experience in the growing accessory segment, and his task is now to grow the business by a closer relationship to the distributors and by increased presence in retail.
- Over the past three years we have set up local sales offices in both Germany and France says Ulf Sandberg CEO at Krusell.
